The Vasa museum
The Vasa ship is the world's best-preserved ship from the 17th century and is completely unique as 98% of it consists of original parts. Gustav II Adolf had the magnificent Vasa ship built, which was not only intended to be a warship but also to show the world that Sweden and its king were powerful and strong. Unfortunately, things didn't go so well and the ship sank on its maiden voyage in 1628. The Vasa ship then lay at the bottom of the sea for 333 years before it was salvaged in 1961. Thanks to the Vasa ship, we can learn a lot about how people thought and lived in the 17th century.

The Old Town is truly the heart of Stockholm. Here, where Stockholm was founded, there is today a unique and beautiful district with a lot of history but is also a vital part of Stockholm. Accessibility: We walk on footpaths and paths. There are stairs but these can be walked around if necessary.

Drottningholm Palace
Drottningholm Palace is our best preserved royal palace. The palace grounds have been preserved unchanged since the 18th century. which is unique and the reason why Drottningholm Palace was designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1991. Drottningholm justifies its name as it is mainly three queens who have left their mark on the palace. During a visit here you will hear their stories and see how they have influenced the palace during different eras. Today, parts of the palace are the residence of the king and queen. Feel free to add a visit to China Palace, the Palace Theatre or Museum de Vries.

Hammarby lakeside town
With a focus on the environment, we take a walk during which you will hear about the so-called Hammarby model, the model that was developed when Sjöstaden was to be built and which has become famous around the world. How did they think about building materials, transportation, energy use, stormwater management and water supply? Did it turn out as planned? During the walk you will see different environmental solutions for, among other things, stormwater, waste and transportation. We will also pass some of the artworks that are located here.

In the footsteps of Nobel
Welcome to join us on this hike as you will both experience beautiful nature and hear about Alfred Nobel and his work in Vinterviken. We start from Liljeholmen and then go via Lake Trekanten, past the colony area and finally arrive at Vinterviken. During the hike you will learn more about: ¤ What kind of activities were going on in Vinterviken? ¤ Why did Alfred Nobel move his business from Södermalm to Vinterviken? ¤ How did the people who lived and worked there live? ¤ What were the dangers surrounding testing and producing dynamite? ¤ When did allotment gardens come to Stockholm?
